Drive product reliability and innovation by bridging semiconductor expertise with system-level design
Ensure component excellence through proactive failure analysis, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration
Lead complex investigations into semiconductor component issues
Utilize expertise in power sub-systems, clocking/timing, and system-level integration to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Leverage advanced data analytics to evaluate component field reliability and assess vendor quality
Engage regularly with Cisco Business Units, internal design teams, and external suppliers to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic design, field application, or failure analysis
Demonstrated expertise in analog and digital electronic design and failure analysis
Practical knowledge of power sub-systems, clocking/timing, and system-level integration
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
Experience with analog and digital electronics, board design, circuit analysis, PCB layout, and hardware debugging (preferred)
Strong understanding of discrete components and associated PCB attach technologies (preferred)
Proven ability to drive failure analysis to resolve performance and quality issues in complex components and assemblies (preferred)
