About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the lifecycle of customer projects, aligning client goals with Cisco’s strategy
- Use PMI and Agile methodologies to maintain project health, financial stability, and operational governance
- Deliver technical solutions that meet business outcomes while ensuring every project remains within scope, on schedule, and on budget
- Partner with Service Delivery and Customer Experience Managers to ensure project visibility and alignment
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Business Development to design and implement custom solutions for clients
- Lead global project teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Advise IT and executive leaders, translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans
- Drive innovation using AI and automation to streamline planning and reporting
- Mentor project managers, lead internal continuous improvement efforts, and represent Cisco at industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience (or equivalent)
- PMP certification
- CPMAI certification
- A solid track record of handling large, complex programs
- Technical knowledge required to guide delivery plans
- Demonstrated ability to handle financial forecasting, revenue tracking, and project-level budgets
- Additional professional project management certifications preferred
- Technical credentials such as CCST Networking, CCST Security, or CCNA to support technical oversight
- Experience with change management and driving operational discipline across large teams
