About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports research and data analysis for pricing, underwriting, claims, and product development initiatives
- Reviews internal and external data sources to help identify trends, risks, and opportunities, with guidance from experienced team members
- Prepares, updates, and validates schedules and reports for key metrics, including premiums, reserves, loss ratios, and policy benefits
- Documents rating factors, data sources, and analytical steps clearly and consistently
- Assists business stakeholders by preparing analyses, summaries, and materials that support decision-making
- Creates clear reports, basic visualizations, and presentation materials for technical and non-technical audiences
- Builds knowledge of company operations, systems, insurance products, actuarial concepts, and applicable industry practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- Generally 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Strong Excel skills required
- Exposure to programming, reporting, or data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, or similar tools is preferred
