About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • customer-focused technical sales professional providing technical information and guidance to the customer
  • partner with Account Managers in a pre-sales technical function
  • showcase Cisco solutions and provide customer presentations
  • perform technical demonstrations, create BoMs, and run proof of concept activities
  • consult, influence, and design solutions to allow the customer to meet their desired outcomes
  • educate the customer on Cisco differentiation
  • align Cisco’s product and services capabilities to customers' business drivers
  • leverage an array of Cisco technology, services, and support specialists
  • collaborate closely with the Account Manager on account planning activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience
  • Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis
  • Knowledge of Cisco's Solutions, and networking fundamentals
  • CCNP or CCIE preferred
  • Customer intimacy skills
  • Pre-sales experience preferred
  • BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience
