About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- customer-focused technical sales professional providing technical information and guidance to the customer
- partner with Account Managers in a pre-sales technical function
- showcase Cisco solutions and provide customer presentations
- perform technical demonstrations, create BoMs, and run proof of concept activities
- consult, influence, and design solutions to allow the customer to meet their desired outcomes
- educate the customer on Cisco differentiation
- align Cisco’s product and services capabilities to customers' business drivers
- leverage an array of Cisco technology, services, and support specialists
- collaborate closely with the Account Manager on account planning activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of industry-related experience
- Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis
- Knowledge of Cisco's Solutions, and networking fundamentals
- CCNP or CCIE preferred
- Customer intimacy skills
- Pre-sales experience preferred
- BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience
