About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a team of Strategic and Best-in-class Account Managers in the GA/SC territory
- Leverage a broader connected team of specialists in the SLED Southeast Region
- Positioning and promoting the Customer Business & Political drivers
- Leading account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities in the state, municipal and education community (SLED)
- Responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering on quota
- Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that enhance Cisco opportunity
- Build and maintain a positive work environment while building trust among your team and partner ecosystem
- Regional travel is required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of technology sales and/or strategic leadership experience
- Ability to lead a dispersed account team with both direct and indirect reports and extended teams
- Strategic technical knowledge of Cisco networking and/or security solutions
- Experience leading a high-performance sales team is preferred
- Clear understanding of Public Sector Procurement Policies and Public Sector buying cycles
- Solid track record of leading large accounts including forecasting and quota attainment
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets for product and service offerings.
