About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build intuitive, scalable, and high-performing user interfaces for Cisco Secure Workload
Develop enterprise-grade frontend experiences that simplify complex security workflows
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to scalable, maintainable frontend architecture
Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and end-to-end (E2E) test coverage
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects while continuously improving application quality and user experience
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback, and mentor less experienced engineers
Estimate work, communicate progress, identify risks early, and contribute effectively within an Agile development environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, or PhD with 1+ years of related experience
Experience developing enterprise-scale frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, or similar technologies
Experience developing enterprise frontend software applications within cloud-native infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, or similar technology domains
Experience partnering with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver frontend features throughout the software development lifecycle
Experience writing automated tests, including unit testing and end-to-end (E2E) testing
