About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute account plans across assigned agencies
- Build relationships with executive and operational leaders, including CIOs, CISOs
- Identify opportunities to modernize cybersecurity programs
- Position Cisco's Security portfolio to address agency priorities
- Collaborate with Cisco Account Managers, Security Specialists, Solutions Engineers, and partners
- Navigate government procurement processes and funding programs
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of technology sales experience
- 5+ years focused on cybersecurity, networking, or infrastructure solutions
- Experience selling technology solutions into State & Local Government
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience managing complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience developing strategic territory and account plans
- Familiarity with State & Local Government procurement processes
