About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • enhance security resilience for our customers and communities
  • build strong executive and internal relationships through strategic vision
  • seek opportunities to showcase Cisco's comprehensive security portfolio
  • develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned region
  • drive double-digit revenue growth by identifying new projects
  • accurately forecast and report activities in line with expectations using Salesforce and Clari
  • identify major projects within your accounts to improve product and services revenue

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 8+ years of overall sales experience
  • at least 3+ years specialized in selling security solutions
  • Experience in selling network security solutions (e.g., Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN) or SaaS security offerings
  • Experience in direct touch sales within a matrixed organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to both in-person and virtual audiences
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Strong forecasting capability centered around core territory
  • Experience managing large deals and implementing account and partner plans across geographic territories
  • Capable of building and implementing an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach
  • Experience with MEDDPICC is a plus.
