About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- enhance security resilience for our customers and communities
- build strong executive and internal relationships through strategic vision
- seek opportunities to showcase Cisco's comprehensive security portfolio
- develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned region
- drive double-digit revenue growth by identifying new projects
- accurately forecast and report activities in line with expectations using Salesforce and Clari
- identify major projects within your accounts to improve product and services revenue
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 8+ years of overall sales experience
- at least 3+ years specialized in selling security solutions
- Experience in selling network security solutions (e.g., Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN) or SaaS security offerings
- Experience in direct touch sales within a matrixed organization
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to both in-person and virtual audiences
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Strong forecasting capability centered around core territory
- Experience managing large deals and implementing account and partner plans across geographic territories
- Capable of building and implementing an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach
- Experience with MEDDPICC is a plus.
