About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Craft and develop relationships with local Cisco Sales teams, customers, and partners through direct and indirect engagement
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics addressing customers’ security challenges
  • Drive significant revenue growth and improve Cisco’s sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with leaders, sales specialists, technical architects, marketing representatives, product business unit teammates, threat research and intelligence professionals, and executives
  • Lead sales planning and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Conduct regular deal reviews
  • Lead account executives in developing and expanding opportunities
  • Lead account executives to exceed quota and implement profitable account strategies delivering year-over-year growth
  • Build area go-to-market plans with customers and partners to meet security outcomes
  • Prioritize customer engagement using market and industry trends to deliver value and thought leadership
  • Develop and implement strategies to exceed sales objectives through direct and extended team resources
  • Promote creativity and energy among team members, peers, and senior leaders through effective direction and delegation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of technical sales experience
  • 3+ years of sales management experience in a technical sales organization including salespeople and systems engineers
  • Experience leading sales teams within U.S. Commercial or Enterprise markets
  • Current knowledge of American and global market trends
  • Strong leadership skills in a cross-functional teaming environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • MBA or graduate degree preferred
