About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve customers who protect, serve, and educate their citizens
- Understand unique business and technical needs of SLED customers
- Cover a variety of verticals including K12, Higher Education, and local governments
- Design and implement solutions to enable customers to serve their constituents
- Work alongside partners, architecture teams, and CX organization for solution adoption
- Establish partnership with Account Manager to drive pipeline
- Build and maintain relationships by conducting regular meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years in a customer facing, field-sales engineering role or network engineering role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Cisco technologies, including networking, security, collaboration, or cloud solutions
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas
- CCNP/CCDP or similar vendor certification (preferred)
- Understanding of emerging technologies including, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), AI/ML, DevOps, and cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) (preferred)
- Proficiency with Python, RESTCONF, NETCONF, YANG Suite, Ansible, Terraform (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with core Cisco technologies including, IOS-XE, Firepower, Meraki, NX-OS, ACI, and NDFC (preferred)
- Strong technical presentation skills
