About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve customers who protect, serve, and educate their citizens
Understand unique business and technical needs of SLED customers
Cover a variety of verticals including K12, Higher Education, and local governments
Design and implement solutions to enable customers to serve their constituents
Work alongside partners, architecture teams, and CX organization for solution adoption
Establish partnership with Account Manager to drive pipeline
Build and maintain relationships by conducting regular meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years in a customer facing, field-sales engineering role or network engineering role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience with Cisco technologies, including networking, security, collaboration, or cloud solutions
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas
CCNP/CCDP or similar vendor certification (preferred)
Understanding of emerging technologies including, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), AI/ML, DevOps, and cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) (preferred)
Proficiency with Python, RESTCONF, NETCONF, YANG Suite, Ansible, Terraform (preferred)
Hands-on experience with core Cisco technologies including, IOS-XE, Firepower, Meraki, NX-OS, ACI, and NDFC (preferred)
Strong technical presentation skills
