About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Cisco Webex’s Federal customers by managing day-to-day service operations, capacity planning, and customer escalations
Manage, monitor, troubleshoot the Webex rich media applications and services
Support the Webex SIP edge services in FedRAMP High or IL-5 environments
Apply SRE and DevOps principles to operate a globally scaled cloud service on the WebEx platform
Use strong analytical skills to identify issues, propose solutions, review logs for errors, and implement design improvements
Participate actively in on-call and pager duty rotations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, or Master’s degree plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year of related experience, or 10+ years related experience
Demonstrated experience working effectively within Agile/Scrum development frameworks and cross-functional teams
Practical experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including system monitoring, incident management, and operational automation
Demonstrated experience deploying and managing containerized application/services in K8s
Proficiency in automation scripting (Bash, Ansible + Python or Go) and the use of regular expressions for data parsing, log analysis, and automation tasks
