About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a team of Strategic and Best-in-class Account Managers in territory
  • Position and promote the Customer Business & Political drivers and Partner Value proposition
  • Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that enhance Cisco opportunity
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering on quota
  • Direct customer contact and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process
  • Build and maintain a positive work environment fostering trust and respect among the team and partners
  • Regional travel is required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of technology sales and/or strategic leadership experience
  • Ability to lead a dispersed account team with both direct and indirect reports and extended teams
  • Strategic technical knowledge
  • Experience leading a high-performance sales team (preferred)
  • Clear understanding of Public Sector Procurement Policies
  • Solid track record in large account management, forecasting, quota attainment, and sales presentations skills
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets for products and services
