About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a team of Strategic and Best-in-class Account Managers in territory
- Position and promote the Customer Business & Political drivers and Partner Value proposition
- Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that enhance Cisco opportunity
- Responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering on quota
- Direct customer contact and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process
- Build and maintain a positive work environment fostering trust and respect among the team and partners
- Regional travel is required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of technology sales and/or strategic leadership experience
- Ability to lead a dispersed account team with both direct and indirect reports and extended teams
- Strategic technical knowledge
- Experience leading a high-performance sales team (preferred)
- Clear understanding of Public Sector Procurement Policies
- Solid track record in large account management, forecasting, quota attainment, and sales presentations skills
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets for products and services
