About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conducts in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
Develops and maintains complex financial models to forecast future financial performance and assess potential risks and opportunities
Leads the development of long-term financial plans and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
Regularly updates forecasts to reflect changes in business conditions and market trends and reconciles internal accounts
Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate the company's financial health
Prepares and presents detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Identifies and assesses financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the company's financial stability
Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal controls
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for operational and strategic initiatives
Communicates complex financial information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders
Drives continuous process improvements and implements best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy and value creation
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
6 or more years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting
Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques
Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software)
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools (CoPilot preferred)
