Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Division

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conducts in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
- Develops and maintains complex financial models to forecast future financial performance and assess potential risks and opportunities
- Leads the development of long-term financial plans and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
- Regularly updates forecasts to reflect changes in business conditions and market trends and reconciles internal accounts
- Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate the company's financial health
- Prepares and presents detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Identifies and assesses financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the company's financial stability
- Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal controls
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for operational and strategic initiatives
- Communicates complex financial information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders
- Drives continuous process improvements and implements best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy and value creation
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 6 or more years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting
- Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software)
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools (CoPilot preferred)
