Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop an experienced underwriting team
Drive underwriting strategy for Fidelity/ Crime profit center
Oversee day-to-day underwriting operations
Underwrite and/or provide hands-on guidance
Drive premium and profitable growth
Build and deepen broker and client relationships
Utilize personal market connections
Collaborate with divisional colleagues
Monitor portfolio performance
Lead planning, forecasting, and reporting
Develop and execute annual plan
Oversee operational expenses
Ensure consistent execution of underwriting guidelines
Coach and mentor team members
Represent the division internally and externally at industry events
Collaborate cross-functionally with claims and other partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

15–20+ years of underwriting experience in Fidelity/ Crime preferred
7+ years of people leadership experience
Strong technical underwriting capability
Proven track record of portfolio management
Established broker relationships
Strong strategic, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work hybrid in NYC and travel locally/occasionally
