About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the Americas region managing group companies and branch offices for Japan-headquartered GSP accounts
  • Report to the Japan-based GSP Solutions Engineering Leader
  • Work closely with Solutions Engineers across other regions (APJC, EMEA) and with the Japan-based SE team
  • Develop multi-year strategic plans for customers, integrating Cisco’s portfolio
  • Deepen expertise of Cisco's portfolio by integrating extensive domain knowledge with cross-architectural solutions
  • Integrate customer’s business objectives and industry knowledge to develop comprehensive cross-architecture solutions
  • Lead demonstrations that emphasize how Cisco solutions can drive business outcomes
  • Utilize advanced competitive intelligence to differentiate Cisco solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 7 years of pre-sales experience as a solutions engineer for Service provider network products and solutions
  • Expertise of Service Provider Network (Segment Routing/BGP/Optical etc)
  • Knowledge and Experience of POC, solution demonstration and Network verification
  • Ability to work with autonomously and independently across different regions and time zones
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong listening and presentation abilities in English
  • Leadership and proactive attitude to lead a team and a project
  • Go-for-it spirit and attitude for new challenges
