Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the subject-matter expert across a range of regulatory issues
Counsel legal colleagues on global cyber and national security regulations
Develop Cisco policies and implementation plans
Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations
Support Cisco's regional Government Affairs leads

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree (J.D. or non-U.S. equivalent)
licensed attorney in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where Cisco does business
10+ years of relevant legal, in-house, and/or law firm experience
substantive legal experience and knowledge in regulatory and/or corporate policy matters involving cybersecurity and national security
prior experience with both U.S. and non-U.S. cybersecurity regulations preferred
sharp judgment and exceptional communication skills
ability to move fluently across legal, security, and business teams
deep sense of ownership and accountability
