About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- drive revenue growth calling on large SLED and Higher Education accounts in the State of Washington
- Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities
- Explore the full spectrum of relationships and business possibilities across the client’s entire org chart
- Become known as a thought-leader in machine learning and predictive analytics
- Expand relationships and orchestrate complex deals across more diverse business stakeholders
- Holistically embrace, access, and apply the channel to identify and open new opportunities
- Provide timely and informative input back to other corporate functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to large enterprises or Public Sector (required)
- At least 3 years of recent sales experience calling on State, Local or Higher Education customers for the State of WA
- Proven record of exceeding quota in complex, solution-based sales
- Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software experience is highly preferred
- Experience working with State legislation and navigating the process
- 4 or more years of SLED experience
- Previous experience applying partners, channels, and alliances to sell more efficiently
- Consistent track record of new business development and over achieving sales targets
- Strong executive presence and polish
- Excellent listening skills
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
