About the role
- Delivering enterprise monitoring and automation support
- Ensuring critical systems and services are proactively monitored
- Detecting issues early and automating operational processes
- Installing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise tools
- Working as part of the Operational Analyst Project team
- Monitoring systems and services and providing 1st level support
- Responding to system requests and messages
- Continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems
- Creating PowerShell scripts and configuring APIs
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an IT Operations Analyst or similar role
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Experience in configuring Application Performance Monitoring alerting thresholds
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems management
- Experience in configuring enterprise monitoring tools
- Working knowledge of operating systems and IT infrastructure (Windows, Linux, virtual machines, containers)
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript
- Proven experience in toolsets such Safeguard, Spectrum, Tidal
