About the role

  • Partner with different functions across the division such as engineering, product management, and operations
  • Ensure products are designed with DFx methodology, customer quality/reliability requirements
  • Develop thorough plans with key milestones and goals
  • Identify and mitigate risks, solve for dependencies, remove impediments
  • Ensure timely and smooth NPI project launches meeting quality and reliability requirements
  • Act as quality product manager for a product
  • Actively participate on product core teams
  • Drive decisions when difficult tradeoffs must be made
  • Teach and train others on best practices

Requirements

  • B.S or M.S Degree in electrical or optical engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated Project Management Skills
  • Ability to Identify Risk, Translate Risks into Action, and Drive Actions to Closure
  • Experience Working with Multi-Functional Design Teams as Part of a Team
  • Knowledge of Common Quality Analytics Tools
  • Ability to use MS Office Tools especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated Data Analysis Skills
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of Design for X (DFx) with focus on Reliability, Quality, Manufacturability, and Repair
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools, Methods, and Techniques
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Black Belt Certification a Plus
