About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor internal systems, external data, and open-source information for potential security risks
Perform first-level reviews and triage incidents to assess impact on employees, assets, or operations
Communicate physical security and safety incidents to partners with urgency and accuracy
Support research, administrative, and investigative efforts
Generate detailed incident reports and maintain up-to-date documentation
Track employee travel to high-risk locations and ensure travel security requirements are met
Analyze data, investigate incidents, and collaborate with partners to safeguard Cisco employees and assets worldwide

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in a Global Security Operations Center or similar environment OR 4+ years of experience in another physical security role
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work outside regular hours for major incidents or shift coverage
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Customer-focused attitude and passion for service excellence
Experience in high-tech environments
Eagerness to learn new tools and processes
Comfort working in a remote, collaborative team environment
Willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally, to support Cisco events or GMC operations on-site
