About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Cisco’s 11-week in-house summer internship through the Legal Experience Acceleration Program (LEAP)
- Work on a range of legal issues for Cisco
- Gain exposure to various legal practice areas while supporting internal clients
- Drive projects enabling the business to develop and sell networking, security and collaboration products and services
- Gain practical in-house legal experience
- Receive hands-on mentoring and coaching
- Research and deliver an end-of-summer project to Cisco Legal’s Senior Leadership Team
- Potentially progress into a 2-year rotation program after law school graduation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree program at an ABA-accredited law school as a 2L law student for academic year 2026/2027
- Available to start the internship cohort on May 17, 2027
- Must have the right to work in the country where the role is based
- Focused attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and cohesively with a team
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Strong interest in starting a legal career as an in-house attorney
