About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop prospecting strategies tailored to specific accounts or territories
- Collaborate with Sales teams to generate pipeline within the assigned region
- Design and implement campaigns while enhancing the existing campaign library
- Partner with Sales and Marketing
- Conduct cold outbound prospecting to grow current customers and introduce Splunk’s portfolio to new prospects
- Identify relevant initiatives and projects for assigned accounts
- Articulate initiative importance and demonstrate how Splunk provides valuable solutions
- Create pipeline and deliver account plans
- Research and cluster accounts into strategic segments
- Establish new connections within assigned territories
- Participate as an integral part of the account team and support the customer buying process
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of demonstrated experience in selling or pipeline generation for technology solutions
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is a plus
- Ability to apply specific solutions to customer challenges and achieve desired outcomes
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and monitoring sales activities, customer interactions, and key signals
- Experience developing and implementing account-planning strategies
- Ability to communicate the value of SaaS solutions concisely
- Ability to evaluate prospects’ likelihood of becoming customers
- Successful prospecting experience using industry knowledge and market intelligence
- Adaptability to changing situations and priorities
- Resilience in handling rejection and overcoming obstacles
- Collaboration skills with prospects, customers, partners, and colleagues
