About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, integrate, configure, customize, optimize and automate Cisco data center networking solutions
Plan and execute network upgrades and migration activities
Write design documents and migration plans
Present solutions to customers remotely and in person
Explain technical issues concisely to technical and non-technical personnel
Provide consultative support to customers
Work effectively with customers and project managers
Manage several customer projects simultaneously
Build solutions and perform implementations
Enable customer self-sufficiency on Cisco data center networking products
Travel up to 20% per year, depending on the project

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS, CS, or University degree equivalent
3+ years of meaningful experience in data center compute and networking
Experience with routing and switching on Cisco Nexus platforms and NX-OS operating systems
Experience with VXLAN or Cisco ACI
Scripting experience, such as Python and Ansible
Use of AI in day-to-day activities and scripting
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a focus on execution
Professional-level certification, such as CCNP, or equivalent relevant certification expected
Consultant or consultative experience is a plus
