Key responsibilities & impact

Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for projects and accounts
Assist customers with integration and implementation of Cisco technologies
Support presale activities by translating business requirements into solution designs
Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate issues
Build and deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures and services
Associate with customers and internal/external resources on deployment and optimization of Cisco services and solutions
Own task and project implementation for assigned engagements
Implement new techniques and methodologies in customer delivery and share lessons learned
Build and review design recommendations, high-level and low-level designs, and implementation/change management plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in consulting engineering / relevant wireless networking work
Experienced knowledge in wireless RF design and wireless network design for large enterprises with branch locations
Proven experience leading large WLAN migration projects and complex Pre-Deployment Inspection (PDI) and optimization engagements
Proficiency with Wi-Fi 7, Python, and Netconf/API
Hands-on product knowledge of Cisco Wi-Fi 7 access points, Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers, and Catalyst Center
Ability to work with limited supervision, receiving little instruction on routine and new assignments
Strong leadership skills and ability to provide guidance and mentoring to other engineers
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Adaptability to evolving technologies and customer needs
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
