About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and evolve platform frameworks and patterns connecting multiple Cisco products
  • Define the vision and execution for AI-integrated, agentic, and generative UI workflows
  • Create modular, extensible enterprise platform systems that scale across products and use cases
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to align priorities and influence roadmaps
  • Deliver cohesive end-to-end user journeys
  • Champion visual excellence, design storytelling, collaboration, and high standards for design craft
  • Use and advance AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows
  • Explore concepts, create and test interactive prototypes, accelerate iteration and validation, and communicate complex platform experiences
  • Maintain strong usability and accessibility standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, or PhD with 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience designing enterprise platform experiences that connect multiple products or services
  • Experience in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design for complex enterprise environments
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Research teams from concept through delivery
  • Experience influencing decisions across teams or functions
  • Experience using AI-assisted design and/or prototyping tools in the product design workflow
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, systems thinking, scalable design approaches, and clear storytelling
  • Experience with system-level, cross-product platforms powering enterprise-scale solutions preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows preferred
  • Awareness of emerging AI and UX trends, including ethical, usable, accessible, and scalable integration preferred
