About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and development for the Sales Team North
- Responsible for achieving revenue, pipeline and growth targets in the Northern region
- Proactively acquire new customers and expand strategic customer relationships
- Support the team with complex sales projects, negotiations and deal closures
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies in alignment with Sales Management
- Manage the entire sales cycle – from lead qualification to contract signing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at C-level and management level
- Analyze customer requirements and develop suitable solution approaches together with internal departments
- Ensure high forecast and pipeline quality and consistent use of the CRM system (HubSpot)
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management and Solution Consulting
- Conduct regular team reviews, coaching sessions and performance discussions
- Represent the company at customer events, trade shows and industry conferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in B2B software sales (ideally SaaS) with proven sales achievements
- Initial or several years of leadership experience in sales and a passion for developing employees
- Experience selling Procure-to-Pay, Finance, ERP, Payment or comparable software solutions is a plus
- Demonstrable success in building and closing complex sales projects
- Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts and CRM processes
- Strong customer orientation and a confident presence at management and C-level
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands-on mentality
- Analytical, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Business-fluent German and English
