About the role
- Conduct experiments and collect data in real-life environments or acoustical laboratories (listening rooms, vehicular acoustics lab, or anechoic chamber)
- Conduct experiments on lithium-ion batteries in a battery test lab
- Document created test methods and educate colleagues on how to conduct the tests
- Write MATLAB simulation code for the investigation of algorithms
- Document designed algorithms and present findings to the research team, development team, and Marketing
Requirements
- M.S. candidate specializing in signal processing (e.g., electrical engineering)
- Matlab fluency
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ph.D. candidate specializing in signal processing (e.g., electrical engineering) preferred
- Python fluency preferred
- C programming preferred
- Experience conducting experiments and collecting data in a laboratory preferred
- Familiarity with pro audio equipment preferred
- Familiarity with equipment used in power systems (e.g., battery cyclers) preferred
- Signal processing preferred
- Elementary electrical circuit analysis preferred
