About the role
- Lead advanced troubleshooting across LAN/WAN/WLAN/cloud environments to resolve performance and stability issues.
- Monitor and diagnose network health using on-prem and cloud-based tools.
- Design and implement secure, standardized network systems aligned with best practices.
- Continuously assess and optimize network performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with network leadership to shape global architecture and strategic direction.
- Maintain accurate documentation including system diagrams and operational procedures.
- Administer and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN appliances.
- Partner with Information Security to ensure compliance and protect company assets.
Requirements
- 5+ years in senior network engineering roles within globally distributed environments, including hands-on experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Must carry 1 of the following certifications; CCNP, JNCIP-Junos, or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, IPSec, and enterprise-grade networking hardware.
- Ability to manage multiple projects from design through implementation.
- Experience designing and supporting LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
