About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop the technical components required for the development of GEO solutions
Design, develop and enhance the core platform to make it more consistent, performant and modular
Implement new business functionalities for applications built on the core platform
Participate in defining the backend architecture and structuring application deliverables
Develop customizable business applications
Contribute to building highly customizable business applications that allow clients to extend functionality themselves
Develop advanced algorithms to meet specific business needs (e.g., communication between applications, etc.)
Design and maintain the mechanisms for inter-application communication
Participate in implementing robust, scalable exchange systems between different modules
Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, regression)
Develop programs capable of automatically testing applications and the core modules
Contribute to automating update and deployment processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in computer science (Master’s level / Bac +5)
Minimum 6 years of proven experience in a similar position
Strong command of Java (required)
Good front-end knowledge (Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript)
Experience with web applications, REST APIs, stateless architectures, and OPENID Connect security
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
Experience handling complex data structures (experience with geometric/spatial data is a plus)
