About the role
- Sourcing batteries across multiple categories — new batteries, used batteries, and surplus.
- Working closely with our Sales team, Legal, and Finance.
- Ensuring sourced batteries are marketable and bankable.
- Building a qualified supply pipeline with clear attributes.
- Qualifying supply streams for technical suitability and commercial viability.
Requirements
- 3–8+ years of experience in business development, procurement, or origination within battery technology, the automotive industry, energy storage, electronics, recycling, or industrial supply chains.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close B2B agreements with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial skills: pricing, risk assessment, contract terms, and relationship management.
- Familiarity with battery fundamentals (chemistry, formats, degradation/aging factors) and a purpose-driven, solution-oriented mindset.
- High process discipline (documentation, traceability, and pipeline hygiene).
