Key responsibilities & impact

Own Circle’s media narrative and public profile for its platforms and products, including Arc Platform, Circle Agent Stack, Circle Payments Network, and Circle Digital Assets and Services
Partner with the product organization early in roadmap planning and development cycles
Build Arc’s long-horizon public narrative and position Circle as a technology company
Own Circle’s press narrative in the agentic economy and develop stories about AI agents transacting with USDC and Circle infrastructure
Set media and stage strategy for product launches and platform milestones
Lead earned media campaigns, executive positioning, and partner and developer communications
Develop stage and speaking strategy for product and technology leaders and manage executive preparation
Own Tier 1 technology media relationships and build AI and agentic economy press relationships
Manage executive thought leadership pipelines, briefing materials, op-eds, bylines, and narrative frameworks
Collaborate with the community team on developer and builder communications for Arc’s ecosystem
Partner with Public Affairs and Reputation Management on crisis and issues management
Architect AI-powered communications workflows for media monitoring and briefing preparation
Model strategic independence, product fluency, and narrative ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in product or technology communications, with substantial in-house experience at a technology company
Demonstrable track record of building product brands over time and developing narrative strategy ahead of announcements
Deep relationships with Tier 1 technology and business media covering infrastructure, developer platforms, fintech, or the future of payments
Experience with developer-facing products or platforms and communicating with builder and technical communities
Familiarity with the AI agent landscape and related media and stages
Strong technical fluency, including ability to read product documentation and engineering briefs and translate technical detail accurately
Experience developing executive thought leadership programs, including speaker strategy, stage management, and long-form narrative development
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong news judgment and experience managing a high-velocity, multi-stakeholder product communications calendar
High autonomy in identifying work, building strategy, and executing independently
Familiarity with generative AI models such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini
Must be based in San Francisco or Palo Alto
