About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic and day-to-day legal support across corporate, regulatory, and operational matters with a strong focus on healthcare and telemedicine compliance and commercial agreements.
Advise on HIPAA, state privacy laws, and data security requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate and transactional documents.
Advise leadership and business stakeholders on legal and regulatory risks.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to provide legal guidance on new features and workflows.
Support responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, investigations, and internal compliance issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 - 6+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional matters (candidates with less than three years’ experience may be considered for an assistant counsel position)
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials and relevant experience in healthcare, regulatory, and/or transactional law
Active bar membership in good standing
Experience in telemedicine preferred but not required.
