About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide adult-only primary care through a telemedicine-first approach
Conduct two-way video-audio appointments lasting 15 to 30 minutes
Build and maintain patient empanelment and continuity of care
Diagnose and treat a variety of adult and primary care conditions
Prescribe medications, including Schedule II medications
Provide evidence-based medicine
Work recurring schedules across a 7-day operation, including evenings and weekends
Coordinate with patient care advocates and the licensed medical team to ensure patient care and follow-up
Use the proprietary HIPAA-compliant EHR and other software
Adapt to fast-paced improvements driven by product and engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed an accredited nursing or medical program with a national certification
Currently licensed in at least one of: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, IA, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, or WA
Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Valid DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2
Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
At least 2 years post-residency practice experience strongly preferred
Experience as a primary care provider in a clinical setting preferred
Commitment to evidence-based medicine
Willingness to learn how to diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions
High degree of technical skill utilizing software
PC with Windows 11 Pro or Mac newer than 2020 required
Applicants must reside in the United States of America
