About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide adult-only primary care through a telemedicine-first approach
  • Conduct two-way video-audio appointments lasting 15 to 30 minutes
  • Build and maintain patient empanelment and continuity of care
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of adult and primary care conditions
  • Prescribe medications, including Schedule II medications
  • Provide evidence-based medicine
  • Work recurring schedules across a 7-day operation, including evenings and weekends
  • Coordinate with patient care advocates and the licensed medical team to ensure patient care and follow-up
  • Use the proprietary HIPAA-compliant EHR and other software
  • Adapt to fast-paced improvements driven by product and engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed an accredited nursing or medical program with a national certification
  • Currently licensed in at least one of: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, IA, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, or WA
  • Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
  • Valid DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2
  • Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
  • At least 2 years post-residency practice experience strongly preferred
  • Experience as a primary care provider in a clinical setting preferred
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine
  • Willingness to learn how to diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions
  • High degree of technical skill utilizing software
  • PC with Windows 11 Pro or Mac newer than 2020 required
  • Applicants must reside in the United States of America
