About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide adult primary care through telemedicine
- Build and maintain patient panels through provider empanelment
- Deliver high-quality, continuous care to patients
- Conduct two-way video-audio appointments lasting 15–30 minutes
- Diagnose and treat a variety of adult and primary care conditions
- Prescribe medications, including Schedule II medications
- Set recurring schedules across a 7-day-a-week operation, including evenings and weekends
- Coordinate with patient care advocates and the licensed medical clinical team for patient care and follow-up
- Focus on patient care while the practice supports insurance coverage understanding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed an accredited nursing or medical program with a national certification
- Currently licensed in at least one listed state: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, IA, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, or WA
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Valid DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2
- Applicants must reside in the United States of America
- High degree of technical skill utilizing software
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine
- Willingness to learn to diagnose and treat varied adult/primary care conditions
- PC with Windows 11 Pro or a Mac newer than 2020
- Primary care provider experience in a clinical setting is ideal
- At least 3 years post-residency practice experience strongly preferred for APPs
- At least 2 years post-residency practice experience strongly preferred for Physicians
