About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Verify merchandise and cash in Company stores through physical counts using a handheld computer
Notify store managers of incorrect prices and remove out-of-code merchandise
Count and record cash, checks, and food stamps in registers, TACC tubes, and safes
Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits
Verify gasoline inventory by checking tanks and water levels
Conduct surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures
Follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations
Work independently with little supervision
Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Contribute to team efforts and complete related duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED preferred
Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment
Valid driver’s license with no major offenses
Current liability car insurance
Occasional overnight travel may be required
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
