Supply Chain

• Oversee and manage logistics operations between vendors, freight forwarders, and relevant authorities to move humanitarian aid.
• Plan and manage logistics between vendors and freight forwarders, including follow-up on deliveries and timelines.
• Identify, visit, evaluate, and expand vendors in Israel and the West Bank; request and assess product samples.
• Prepare and send RFQs and develop comparison sheets to support vendor selection; maintain vendor database and performance records.
• Conduct site visits to Kerem Shalom crossing to monitor truck movements and resolve on-the-ground issues.
• Prepare and submit paperwork for UN mechanism applications and prepare manifests.
• Liaise with customs authorities, prepare clearance documents, and coordinate customs clearance when required.
• Supervise loading and track offloading of goods, ensuring correct products, labeling (stickers, LX numbers, QR codes), and documentation.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Cluster for weekly convoys to Gaza and inform team members of convoy departure and arrival times.
• Monitor border closings, track shipments to ensure timely delivery, and handle urgent issues disrupting logistics operations.
• Ensure warehouse safety, adherence to public safety procedures, and proper storage conditions.
• Update convoy data on Airtable in coordination with the data team and provide regular updates and reports to the Logistics Manager.
• Collaborate closely with the supply chain team in Jordan, with periodic travel as needed.
