About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Client Growth Across Analytics & Retail Media
  • Assist the commercial lead in identifying opportunities in both traditional analytics and retail media by preparing materials, conducting background research, and helping position Circana’s solutions for client needs.
  • Translate Data & Retail Media Insights Into Simple, Actionable Takeaways
  • Work with senior team members to interpret shopper, sales, and retail media performance data and help craft clear stories that support client conversations and commercial proposals.
  • Contribute to the Sales Process (Analytics + Retail Media)
  • Support key steps in the sales cycle—including prospecting research, preparing needs assessments, assisting with proposals, and contributing to follow-ups for both analytics programs and retail media opportunities.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner closely with Client Insights, Product, Retail Media Measurement, and Analytics to gather inputs, validate numbers, and help deliver cohesive client solutions.
  • Build Foundational Retail Media & Industry Knowledge
  • Develop understanding of retail, CPG, and retail media trends—such as audience strategy, activation, measurement, and cross‑channel dynamics—to strengthen client discussions and improve solution alignment.
  • Maintain & Strengthen Client Relationships
  • Help manage ongoing communication through meeting prep, capturing notes and action items, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely responses across analytics and retail media conversations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a client-facing, sales, analytics, or retail/CPG environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools, CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), or retail media/ad platforms is preferred but is not required; training will be provided.
  • Experience with digital media and shopper loyalty programs.
  • Ability to translate data and analysis into clear, relevant business implications.
