About the role
- Define and execute the vision for AI-driven web scraping, aligning with Circana’s broader data strategy.
- Develop processes to identify, extract, and integrate data from external sources using advanced AI techniques.
- Implement AI and machine learning models to enhance web crawling, data parsing, and classification of scraped content.
- Ensure all scraping activities adhere to legal and ethical standards, using non-intrusive methods.
- Recruit and lead a specialized team focused on web scraping and AI innovation.
- Partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver data assets for new services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in web scraping and data acquisition at scale, with demonstrated use of AI/ML techniques.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, machine learning, and adaptive algorithms.
- Leadership experience building and managing technical teams.
- Ability to pivot quickly and solve complex data challenges in dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations.
- 10+ years in data engineering, AI/ML, or related fields.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer data industries.
