About the role
- Become an expert with lead generation tools to build targeted prospect lists.
- Proactively prospect freemium accounts with relevant, human touches.
- Qualify prospects using targeted, relevant questions; nurture them and understand needs prior to an initial sales meeting.
- Schedule discovery calls for our Customer Success Team and consistently meet/exceed monthly quotas for attended discovery calls.
- Execute multi‑channel outreach (phone, email, social) using a sales development platform.
- Counter top‑of‑funnel objections gracefully—demonstrating excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives to build and execute account communication plans.
- Coordinate demos with Sales Engineering and log all activities in Salesforce.
- Conduct thorough research and mine our existing database to build monthly call lists.
- Close sales by educating prospects on our product value and guiding them through the buying process.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in a similar role with a strong track record (internships, projects, or early‑career wins count).
- 0–1 years of telemarketing experience, preferably in IT Enterprise Software.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed team.
- Strong, professional communication skills in English—written and verbal—with great listening skills.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and the discipline to manage them.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations (virtual and phone).
