About the role
- oversee and accelerate acquisition growth strategy within the Fee Only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) marketplace
- identify, evaluate, and execute acquisition and partnership opportunities
- lead the M&A lifecycle—from sourcing and financial modeling through due diligence and negotiation
- manage a high-quality pipeline of fee-only RIA opportunities
- partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient, compliant deal execution
- oversee financial models, valuation analyses, and performance assessments
- analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and advisor business models
- drive enterprise alignment with internal functions and acquired RIAs for smooth integration
Requirements
- advanced experience, generally 10+ years, in business development, M&A, and corporate development within the retail RIA or wealth management business channels
