About the role
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Maintain billable hours as necessary
- Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision
- Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.
Requirements
- Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school
- Maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania
- At least 7 years of direct PA workers' compensation experience
- 10+ years of WC experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred
- Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
