About the role

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
  • Maintain billable hours as necessary
  • Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision
  • Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.

Requirements

  • Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school
  • Maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania
  • At least 7 years of direct PA workers' compensation experience
  • 10+ years of WC experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred
  • Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
