About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the BI strategy
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, and others
- Define and operationalize enterprise KPIs and executive-level dashboards
- Oversee the evolution of our modern cloud data stack
- Unify enterprise data models across the organization
- Maintain ownership of data cataloging, quality, and governance standards
- Establish rigorous data quality, observability, and reliability standards
- Own vendor relationships and the BI budget
- Oversee and ensure timely delivery of month-end data
- Champion the use of AI and advanced analytics
- Lead the transition to modern BI tools
- Lead organizational change management and data literacy initiatives
- Lead and mentor a global team of engineer and analyst professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Skilled at leading distributed, high-performing teams through organizational change
- Proven track record of leading global BI functions within technology companies
- Deep understanding of modern data stacks, specifically Databricks
- Experience leading teams through organizational change
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data infrastructure concepts into clear business value for non-technical senior leadership
- Experience managing remote/distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, CS, Data Science) or equivalent professional experience
