About the role
- Lead the technical evolution of our data platform
- Own the design and implementation of our Databricks Lakehouse
- Drive the migration of complex legacy SQL into governed pipelines
- Serve as the resident query performance expert
- Govern our Databricks compute footprint
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Architect the semantic layer in Omni
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- 8+ years in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
- Deep, hands-on experience in the Databricks ecosystem
- Expert-level SQL and distributed computing skills
- Experience in query optimization and data platform migration
- Proven experience building data transformation workflows
- Strong command of dimensional modeling
- Hands-on Unity Catalog experience
- Fluency with Delta Lake internals
- Hands-on experience with modern BI semantic layers
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
