About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, monitor and execute import and export processes from order placement to final delivery
- Analyze import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, DI - Import Declaration, LI - Import License, among others)
- Issue and validate export documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificates, RE - Export Registration, DU-E, DUIMP, etc.)
- Interface with international suppliers, customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders and regulatory agencies
- Monitor customs clearance processes and ensure documental and regulatory compliance
- Manage and control import/export costs, including international freight, storage, payments, fees, taxes and other logistics expenses
- Develop, monitor and analyze area performance indicators (KPIs), proposing continuous improvement actions
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics, tax and operational costs
- Ensure compliance with current customs, tax and foreign exchange legislation
- Support Purchasing, Planning, Tax, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance teams
- Serve as the technical reference for international trade, supporting internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade or International Relations
- Minimum of four years' experience in import and export routines, preferably in manufacturing
- Intermediate to advanced English
- Experience managing logistics suppliers and international agents
- Experience analyzing logistics costs and performance indicators
- Advanced Excel
- Advanced Excel and Power BI preferred
- Desirable knowledge of special customs regimes: Drawback, Ex-tariff, Temporary Admission and Bonded Warehouse (Entreposto Aduaneiro)
- Experience with SAP ERP or similar systems preferred
- Spanish is a plus
