About the role
- Plan factory production based on machining orders from Plant 1, issued via the ERP system.
- Analyze and size optimal production batches, considering cost, production capacity and inventory levels.
- Set and communicate production targets to manufacturing, aiming to reduce costs and maintain inventory at optimal levels.
- Schedule the production sequence according to the established plan, using Gantt charts.
- Take into account the customer's daily pull, provided via the system, to reduce idle time and ensure on-time delivery.
- Conduct daily follow-up on the shop floor to monitor execution of the production plan.
- Verify adherence to the schedule by checking piece counts, planned versus actual hours, and production sequence.
- Maintain continuous communication with production leaders for adjustments and replanning as needed.
- Reassess and adjust planning whenever there are deviations, demand changes, or production constraints.
- Manage item master data and maintenance in SAP, including planning parameters, work centers and routings.
- Support continuous improvement projects, planning stability initiatives, and ERP implementation/optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (completed).
- Proven experience in Production Planning and Control (PPC).
- Experience with SAP – PP and MM modules.
- Experience in Supply Chain and participation in ERP implementation projects, especially SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience as an SAP user, preferably S/4HANA (Business One will be considered).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience in production planning and SAP configuration/parameterization (items, work centers, planning parameters).
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP transactions: MM01 / MM02 / MM03 / CA01 / CA02 / CA03 / CO01 / CO02 / CO03 / MB1A / MIGO / CO15.
- Preferred:
- Experience as a Senior PPC Analyst, with at least 2 years working with SAP.
- Experience in medium or large industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Experience with PPC KPIs (plan adherence, OTIF, inventory, productivity).
