About the role
- Oversee all HR processes in Spain, from recruiting and onboarding to employee lifecycle management and offboarding.
- Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees on HR policies, labor law, and people-related topics.
- Coordinate payroll preparation in collaboration with external providers.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and other HR documentation.
- Support the organization of internal events, HR initiatives, and employee activities.
- Manage correspondence with companies regarding Spanish occupational health and safety requirements.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including reconciliations, invoice processing, and payments.
- Support monthly and annual closing processes and act as the primary contact for correspondence with tax advisors.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analyses, and forecasts for management.
- Continuously improve finance processes and implement efficient systems and tools.
- Manage and review travel expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Provide administrative support across HR and office operations, including coordination of HR events and day-to-day office tasks.
- Assist with general office management and ensure smooth administrative workflows.
- Collaborate closely with international teams across Finance, Operations, and Leadership to support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in HR and/or accounting, ideally within an international company.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting and HR systems and strong proficiency in MS Office or similar tools.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven working style with high ownership.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
- Fluent Spanish and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
