About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the annual audience, formats and Film Rental budgeting process, ensuring consistent projections and decision-making support.
  • Define and oversee the release and retention strategy for films exhibited across the network, considering each film's potential, each cinema's profile, performance history of similar films, competition, special formats, versions, seasonality, operational constraints and commercial opportunities, aiming to maximize business results.
  • Drive and validate daily, weekly, monthly and annual audience forecasts, using historical data, market behavior, release calendar, pre-sales, competition, events, holidays and consumption trends.
  • Monitor key area metrics, market trends, audience behavior and competitor performance, identifying opportunities and risks for the business.
  • Track competitors' commercial, pricing and promotional strategies, assessing impacts and opportunities to maintain network competitiveness.
  • Prepare executive presentations and management reports for the local and international board.
  • Lead strategic negotiations with content distributors, aligning commercial opportunities and terms, as well as initiatives to maximize performance, seeking the best balance between audience potential, profitability and long-term relationships.
  • Lead the strategy and monitoring of alternative content, including concerts, sports, anime, religious content, re-releases, special programming, festivals and new suppliers, aiming to increase audiences, encourage experimentation and create new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, Marketing, Planning and other internal areas to ensure alignment between programming priorities, in-cinema execution and the company's strategic objectives.
  • Lead projects to develop and evolve programming tools.
  • Manage, mentor and develop a diverse, multidisciplinary team of 7, fostering autonomy, analytical discipline, collaboration, ownership mentality, negotiation skills, business acumen and executional excellence.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in programming, planning, performance analysis, market intelligence, distribution, entertainment, retail or related areas.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in scenario modeling, interpretation of historical data, performance indicators and development of executive recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel required.
  • Knowledge of BI tools, especially Power BI and Qlik Sense.
  • Experience in technology projects, process transformation, business requirements definition, testing and tool implementation is a strong plus.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Advanced Spanish desirable.
