About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Tracking development progress
- Prepping for and scheduling team meetings
- Assist in creating pitch documents such as outlines and decks
- Maintain department spreadsheet with active projects and priorities, oversee unsolicited pitches
- Assist EP with research and meetings with writers in active development
- Coordinate with C3 and Cineflix personnel
- Prepare paperwork for various accounting
- Provide research on new and developing stories, sourcing content and IP including reading scripts or books and provide coverage/analysis; Source IP, and film/tv rights, establishing relationships with publishers and lit agents and conduct interviews and maintain relationships with sources for new stories when needed.
