About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems that improve clinical care and patient management
- Support system testing and document testing outcomes
- Develop technical solutions using development lifecycle processes, operating procedures, and documentation
- Coordinate clinical systems training and build environments where applicable
- Develop educational technology content and advance education and learning processes
- Use multivariate learning modalities for clinical system education
- Take ownership of tasks and communicate issues and roadblocks to supervisors
- Identify resources for small and medium projects and support project communication
- Participate in design and leadership team meetings for clinical applications
- Consult with end users to align applications, training programs, and materials with patient care processes
- Identify best practices for clinical system use and training
- Support or lead design, development, and implementation of application requests
- Support or lead project plans and documentation for moderately complex projects
- Determine project scope, coordinate resources, and complete assigned tasks
- Facilitate communication between internal and external parties
- Develop relationships with customer groups and stakeholders
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and outstanding end-user support
- Monitor Service Level Agreements for incident management
- Plan and execute clinical system training and create and curate advanced education materials
- Promote change management policies and procedures
- Model timely, effective, and CARES-aligned customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Comprehensive understanding of Epic workflows and how they integrate across diverse clinical and operational areas
- Current Epic certification(s) preferred, such as Epic Care Everywhere, Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation, EpicCare Link, Epic Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient Procedure Orders, Epic Cadence, or Grand Central
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Strong sense of personal accountability
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact collaboratively with all levels of staff
