About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop, implement, and execute targeted sourcing and screening strategies
  • Stay current with and use effective sourcing techniques and strategies
  • Assist in evaluating vendor partners
  • Use relevant metrics to evaluate recruitment, selection, and placement effectiveness
  • Adjust recruitment strategies based on results
  • Conduct full life-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, applicant assessment, selection, hiring, and onboarding
  • Recruit for assigned divisions, positions, or programs of moderate complexity within the medical center
  • Develop pipelines of qualified candidates for key positions
  • Advise and assist recruiters with candidate identification and selection decisions
  • Support Cincinnati Children's EEO/Affirmative Action efforts in recruitment and selection
  • Coach and counsel recruiters on candidate attraction and identification, selection, onboarding, compensation, and management practices
  • Develop an understanding of clients' recruitment needs and maintain positive working relationships
  • Provide guidance and appropriate recommendations
  • Counsel applicants regarding minimum requirements, career opportunities, and transfer/promotion policy interpretation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
  • Recent nursing recruitment experience across multiple disciplines preferred
  • APP recruitment experience or exposure preferred; credentialing experience is a plus
  • Formal or informal leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing recruitment strategies within a healthcare or hospital setting preferred
  • Experience creating process flows in a healthcare or hospital environment with measurable results preferred
  • Proficiency with Workday and other recruitment platforms preferred
  • Experience building and maintaining candidate pipelines preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills preferred
